Trey is your ultimate Hill Country real estate expert - not just because he was born and raised in Bulverde, but because he brings a diverse set of skills, deep local knowledge, and a genuine passion for helping people to every transaction. A proud graduate of Smithson Valley High School (Class of ’05), Trey stayed close to home after graduation, attending the Alamo Community Colleges before transferring to UTSA. While pursuing his degree, he maintained an honors GPA - all while working over 45 hours a week managing first at Whataburger, then Sonic Drive-in. Early mornings and late nights weren’t just a job - they were a way of life. Though he found food service fulfilling, his true passion was psychology, driven by a desire to better understand and serve others. In 2017, Trey earned his Master’s in Experimental Psychology. Soon after, he faced a pivotal decision: pursue a career in academia, or take over his mother’s growing real estate business after her breast cancer diagnosis. Inspired by her resilience and the business she built from the ground up, Trey stepped in, combining his academic background, tireless work ethic, and love for his community to continue her legacy. By the grace of God, his mother recovered within a year, and together they operated as The Hancock Group until her retirement in 2022. Today, Trey lives in Bulverde and helps care for his mother alongside his sister. Outside of real estate, he’s deeply involved in the community - volunteering with Bulverde Baptist Church, joining mission trips to Brazil, serving on local boards, and building strong ties through the Chamber of Commerce. He shares his home with two beloved dogs: Molly the Schnorkie and Susan the Pudelpointer. His family may be small, but it’s overflowing with love. For almost 10 years, Trey has helped countless buyers and sellers navigate real estate in San Antonio and the Hill Country. With an average of $3 million in annual sales volume and a consistent track record as a top producer, he brings experience, persistence, strong relationships, and patience to every client he serves.
